Collin and Rita Wildschut moved to Brooks, Alberta from the Netherlands in 1975. In 2010 they made their dream a reality when they opened the Red Roof Studio. Not only does the Red Roof Studio have the gallery displaying work from various local artists, it also is a studio for Collin's photography; teaching area for art classes; Rita's workspace for her own creations; a beautiful seating area by the garden pond; many gardens that contain fairies, giants and other creatures created by Rita; and an addition to the gallery also contains Rita and Collin's own living sanctuary. The large property has the Bed and Breakfast.  Their home is situated in the country and is any gardeners' envy with 4 acres of flower gardens, sprawling lawns, trees, and orchards. The yard contains a photographers ideal backdrop and also is where art classes occur in the summer.
